Nauta is completing works on board timber carrier Bahamas Pearl. Few days ago another vessel - Tuju Arrow left Nauta after successful 1st class repair.
The works on board Bahamas Pearl are conducted in the SD I graving dry dock. The vessel with LOA 200 m and beam 30 is undergoing her class repair, including maintenance and painting works on the hull and cargo, works on the covers and gantries, steel work, replacement of the shaft seals as well as engineering works.
The 225 m long and 33 m wide bulk carrier - Tuju Arrow visited Nauta’s SD I dry dock. Scope of work included: hull preservation, renewal of propeller boss cap fine, fuel tanks cleaning, hatch covers gaskets renewal, windlass overhaul, repairs of main engine scavenging air cooler and main engine fuel heaters, main engine turbocharger overhaul, main and emergency switchboards overhaul.
Tuju Arrow is 6th generation open hatch gantry crane vessel. The unit was built in 2010.
