Works with SAR vessel 'Ratownik' for the Polish Navy continue

Nauta Shiprepair Yard, being a member of specially formed consortium, is actively taking part in design and constructing process of a single search and rescue vessel (code name “Ratownik”) which is to be delivered to the Polish Navy.

The performed hydrodynamic tests at the CTO model test basin confirmed that the design objectives in terms of resistance , the seakeeping and maneuvering characteristics can be met.

Basin tests were followed by experimental model test carried in the CTO shore station on Lake Wdzydze which proved the maneuvering and seakeeping characteristics of the hull design, like turning circles, yowing and changing from “full ahead” to “full astern”.

The next step will include stability tests which shall be performed by CTO center in Gdansk.
