Another purse-seiner shall be built in Nauta

Nauta Shiprepair Yard has signed another contract for building partly outfitted hulls of purse-seiners for Danish shipyard - Karstensens Skibsvaert AS.

The vessel shall be 56.50 m long and 12,50 wide. This is the seventh vessel to be built for this client.


OHP class guided missile frigate in one of Nauta’s floating docks

On 21st July ORP "Gen. K. Pułaski" – OHP (Oliver Hazard Perry) class guided missile frigate entered Nauta’s floating dock No. 4. The frigate shall undergo 4-month -long upgrade program.

ORP "Gen. K. Pułaski", a gas turbine – powered, anti – aircraft and anti-ship capable frigate was commissioned in 1980 as USS Clark. She was then transferred to Polish Navy and named for Kazimierz Pułaski, an American Revolutionary War hero in the United States and an independence hero in Poland.


Double launch in Nauta

July the 3rd saw the first double launch in the history of Nauta and the entire Polish shipyard industry.

The first to go on the water was the seiner Don Ole with the overall length of over 60 meters and a beam of 12.6 meters. It was commissioned by Fitjar Mekaniske Verksted AS. Shipyard and it is going to fish for Austral Group S.A.A., a part of Norwegian Austevoll Seafood ASA, one of the world’s leading fishing companies.


Launching ceremony of special research vessel in Gdynia

On 24th June 2015 consortium of Nauta Shiprepair Yard and Crist from MARS group launched a special purpose vessel for interdisciplinary research of the sea. Special catamaran “Oceanograf” was ordered by Institute of Oceanography, University of Gdańsk.

Works on board Lotos Petrobaltic oil rig completed

Nauta Shiprepair Yard has completed works on board Lotos Petrobaltic oil rig. The rig is ready to operate on B8 field.


Croatian MT Verige leaves Nauta

On 18th May, 2015 MT VERIGE left Nauta after the 1st SS. The 195m long and 32m wide crude oil carrier visited Nauta’s SD I dry dock, where standard repairs and coating works were conducted.

Record holding MT Advantage Spring leaves Nauta

On 1st May, 2015 MT Advantage Spring left Nauta after DD repairs in the largest SD II graving dry dock in this region. With a capacity of 156,597 DWT this is the largest ship ever to visit Nauta Shiprepair Yard. Apart of standard DD repairs, some works on tail shaft and propeller of MT Advantage Spring were performed.


Keel laying at Nauta Shiprepair Yard in Gdańsk

On April 30th 2015 a ceremony of keel laying was held at Nauta Shiprepair Yard in Gdańsk. Keel was laid under a Service Operation Vessel SOV vessel whose partly outfitted hull (B-858; Buyer’s Hull No,125) is going to be built by Nauta Shiprepair Yard for Havyard Ship Technology AS which is part of Havyard Group ASA, a fully integrated international supplier of ship technology, from ship design to full support to the sailing ships.

Works on m/v Mazury successfully completed

Works on board Polsteam’s bulk carrier m/v Mazury have been successfully completed on 19th April, 2015. The vessel which has undergone the 2nd SS, was built in Chinese Xingang yard. She is a sister vessel to m/v Kociewie, m/v Szczecin and m/v Wadowice which also visited Nauta in the last four months.
